“Me gustas tú” / “I like you”, Manu Chao

Excellent video with lyrics and images which clearly show the use of the verb gustar (to like) in Spanish. The song is “Me gustas tú” (I like you), by Manu Chao.

Some useful vocabulary that may not be too clear from the video:

Soñar: To dream

Camelar: To sweet-talk

Menear: To shake, to wiggle

Also, keep in mind that ‘mar’ (sea) is usually a masculine noun (as in ‘el fondo del mar’ = the bottom of the sea), but it can be sometimes feminine in literary language and in set idiomatic expressions in certain uses like ‘alta mar’ (the high seas).
